Training for Management

 

This Training Programme consists of two courses; the first of these courses is NEBOSH (National Examining Board in Occupational Safety and Health) National General Certificate and the second is IOSH (Institute Of Occupational Safety and Health) Managing Safely Certificate.

 

NEBOSH National General Certificate

NEBOSH Certification

Introduction

Health and safety legislation places a legal duty on all employers to ensure an adequate level of awareness and safety competence of persons with responsibility for health and safety

Managers and senior supervisors with health and safety resposibilities

What are the contents of the course?

  • Noise and Hand Arm Vibration Issues

Presentation

The training is prepared and presented by qualified & accredited safety professionals. The presentations are enhanced by Training videos, Practicle exercises and Demonstrations, Comprehensive Course Notes, OHP Slides and Question and Answer sessions.

How long does it last?

Total duration of the course is 12 Days plus a day for examination. Each candidate is expected to contribute a minimum of 40 hours additional study time. Lunch breaks and refreshment breaks during the morning and afternoon are included in this time.

What materials will I need?

All learning materials will be provided by R & R Safety Systems

How many places are available on this course?

Each course is limited to 12 delegates in order to ensure that sufficient time is given to the concerns and needs of each delegate.

What qualification will I receive?

All successful candidates will be awarded with the NEBOSH national certificate

 

 

IOSH Managing Safely Certificate

Introduction

The health and safety at work act 1974 and management of health and safety at work regulations 1992, place strict legal duty on employers to ensure that all company functios are organised, planned, managed, monitored and supervised by competent persons in repect of Health and Safety.

Who should attend?

Managers, supervisors, safety supervisors, any persons with similiar responsibilities

What is the content of the course?

  • Health and safety legislation
  • Codes of practice, guidance notes and sources of information
  • Safety management techniques
  • Active and re-active safety monitoring
  • Safety hazards - general and specific
  • Risk assessment and risk control
  • Accidents and reporting
  • Safety reviews and audits

There will be an assessment at the end of the course

5 Day block or 5 Day release - With lunch breaks and refreshment breaks during morning and afternoon sessions

What qualification will I recieve?

Successful candidates will be awarded the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
